Red	Pinot Noir (Nero) Grape	The only black grape permitted in Alsace Grape notes: Low tannins due to thin skin. Susceptible to rot. Early budding and ripening.
White	Gewurztraminer Grape	Grape notes: This is an aromatic grape; its nose intensity will likely be pronounced.
White	Moscato (Muscat) Grape	Grape notes: This is an aromatic grape; its nose intensity will likely be pronounced. Prone to poor fruit set and rot.
White	Pinot Blanc Grape	Grown in the plain, not on the slopes
White	Pinot Gris (Grigio) Grape	Typically picked later. Grape notes: Early budding and ripening. Two main styles: 1. Harvested early. Dry, light body, medium-to-high acidity and simple flavors. 2. Delayed harvesting. Full body, medium acidity and complex flavors.
White	Riesling Grape	Some vendanges tardives grapes. Usually usesd for sparkeling wines. Grape notes: Susceptible to botrytis

Still White	Gewurztraminer Wine	High quality wines, espeically the Grand Crus. Full body, low-to-medium acidity, high alcohol. Oily textrue. Wine notes: Usually high alcohol, complex and flavorful.
Still White	Moscato (Muscat) Wine	Intensly aromatic. Orange Blossom, rose, and grape. Light-to-medium body and low-to-medium acidity.
Still White	Pinot Gris Wine (France)	Dry-to-medium sweetness. Medium-to-full body with oily texture. Peach, mango, and/or dried fruit flavors with a hint of honey or ginger.
Still White	Riesling Wine	Dry and medium bodied with high acid. Pronouned aromas and flavors of citrus and stone fruits. Sometimes late harvest or botrytised sweet wines.
